Fettucine with spinach and cheese in creamy sauce
Easy & quick recipe with use of one pan pasta method. Long pasta suits this recipe perfectly, but you are free to use any type of pasta you have right now. If you like al dente pasta – reduce pasta cooking time (~ -2 min). Ingredients are for 2 medium-sized portions (or a big one for a hungry person).
List #1:
- 20 g. of minced onion
- 1 tbsp of oil
List #2:
- 100 g of any long pasta
- 240 ml of water
- 80 g of frozen spinach
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of lemon or lime juice
List #3:
- 50 g of sliced cheese (like edam, gouda etc.)
- 100 ml of cream, 20% fat
Instructions
1. Fry the onion until transparent and add list #2 to a pan, cover and bring to a boil. Stir (especially defrosted spinach, to spread it equally), cover and cook at low heat. Cooking time: see the package of your pasta +2 min.
2. Stir pasta, add list #3, stir one more time, cover and cook until cream begins to bubble. Uncover and stir. If the sauce is too liquid – cook additional minute uncovered, stirring all the time.
